Bernardo Salgado is the Firm’s newest partner

Terra Tavares Ferrari Schenk Elias Rosa is pleased to announce that Bernardo Salgado has become a partner of the Firm.

Bernardo is a Civil Law Professor at PUC-Rio Law School. He earned his Master’s degree in Civil Law from UERJ, where he gained scholarly recognition for his academic distinction, and has authored several legal publications, among which the book “Arras Confirmatórias e Penitenciais” (Processo, 2022), as well as the collective works, such as “Inexecução das Obrigações” (Processo, 2020), “Princípios Contratuais Aplicados” (Foco, 2019) e “Direito dos Seguros: comentários do Código Civil” (Forense, 2023).

Bernardo has also authored several articles in specialised Law Reviews, on subjects concerning both Civil and Business Law, such as “A teoria do inadimplemento eficiente (efficient breach theory) e o ordenamento jurídico brasileiro”, “A frustração do fim do contrato no direito brasileiro”, “A transferência do privilégio trabalhista à luz da legislação falimentar”, “Lucro da intervenção: disciplina e julgamentos pioneiros no Superior Tribunal de Justiça”, “O risco no seguro garantia e o inadimplemento anterior ao termo”, among others.

Bernardo is an attorney in complex cases of civil and business litigation, representing companies of various market sectors.
